Hytera HP715Ex IIC Intrinsically Safe DMR Two-Way Radio (ATEX / IECEx)

The Hytera HP715Ex IIC is an intrinsically safe DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) portable two-way radio built for hazardous areas — places where explosive gas, combustible dust or chemical vapour make an ordinary radio a genuine ignition risk.

It is certified to IECEx and ATEX standards for Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust environments. The IIC gas group is the highest classification, covering acetylene and hydrogen atmospheres.

Typical users: oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, mining, fire and rescue, food processing, steel and airport operations.

Safety features

• Lone Worker — if the radio detects no activity within a preset time, it raises an alarm and reports the user's location.
• Man Down — a sudden tilt towards the ground triggers an automatic alert to colleagues or the control room.
• Precise positioning — GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS and Galileo, with dual-frequency (L1/L5) accuracy down to one metre.
• Anti-fake battery detection — a non-original battery triggers an on-screen prompt and a flashing red LED.
• Locked battery — a protection plate and lock stop the battery detaching on impact, so no spark risk from a dropped radio.
• Anti-static construction — dual-material housing resists the static build-up that can cause ignition.
• Encrypted and recorded voice — critical calls can be encrypted and recorded to TF card or GOB board.
